Russian Tour – Samara / An evening around the theme of the Vinteuil Sonata

The Samara National Philharmonic is a national cultural institution founded on 5th October 1940 for the establishment of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Samara okroug (administrative division).

Its first concert was held on 8th May of the following year. It is located in the ancient Olympic theatre of the city, now completely redesigned. It was also here that Dimitri Shostakovich’s famous Seventh Symphony was performed.

The ensemble Des Equilibres will have the chance to perform during a concert for violin and
piano duet.
